1. Nita Ambani’s 50th Birthday Party

While Nita Ambani celebrates her birthday every year with the finest cakes, warmest congratulations from celebrities, and most costly presents from her family, her 50th birthday celebration in 2013 became the biggest ever. This birthday celebration for Nita Ambani was held at the Umaid Bhavan Palace in Jodhpur in the presence of many VIPs and celebrities from across the nation.

The celebration took place on November 1st, but celebs arrived a day before to make the best of their preparation. Nobody wanted to be late for this big occasion of the wealthiest family in Asia. Reliance Industries Ltd.'s 32 chartered aircrafts were used to carry more than 300 visitors to the venue. Leading figures in the Indian entertainment industry, such as Priyanka Chopra and the musical prodigy A.R. Rahman had special performances during the occasion. There were enormous displays made of exotic flowers. The total cost of this party is estimated to be $31M.

2. Mulayam Singh Yadav’s 75th Birthday Party

Mulayam Singh Yadav, the founder of the Samajwadi Party, had a grand birthday celebration at Rampur in 2014. He cut a 75-foot-long cake as the clock struck midnight as sky-high pyrotechnics were going off. He arrived in an imported Victorian-style carriage, and he claimed that he had never previously had such a lavish reception. Just the cake itself cost Rs 80 lakh. However, the luxury sparked a lot of debates about his finances and the source of that cash.

3. Karan Johar’s 50th Birthday Party

More people from the celebrity world attended Karan Johar's birthday party than an IIFA or Filmfare awards ceremony this year to mark his birthday which was on 25th May. As Bollywood celebs pulled up in their posh automobiles and walked the red carpet into the party area at the Yash Raj Studios in Mumbai, there was a queue of photographers outside. Every major celebrity in the business attended, including Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and Anushka Sharma. The biggest party of the year, however, ended up being a Covid hotspot, with between fifty and fifty-five partygoers testing positive for the virus. While it is unknown exactly who contracted the illness during Karan Johar's party, Shah Rukh Khan and actress Katrina Kaif both tested positive shortly after going to the event. Vicky Kaushal won the best actor award at the IIFA, but Kaif, who was meant to be present, was unable to attend.

4. Mayawati’s 55th Birthday Party

Mayawati had her 55th birthday in a lavish manner in 2011. During this lavish celebration for Mayawati's 55th birthday, party leaders, government representatives, and BSP members were all eager to win her favor. She allegedly spent Rs 300 crore (supported by the State) to celebrate her birthday on January 15. Laddus were distributed in 403 assembly districts, a 55-kg cake was cut at 71 BSP offices around Uttar Pradesh, and blankets were given to 50,000 people in need. So, it was obvious that she turned her birthday into a government event. Of course, it was more like an official government function than a birthday party.

5. Prithvi Akash Ambani’s 1st Birthday Party

The wedding of Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta, the oldest son of Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani, took place on March 9, 2019. After more than a year and a half of marriage, Akash and Shloka were blessed with a son, Prithvi Akash Ambani, on December 10, 2020. Prithvi’s first birthday party was held on December 10, 2021. On April 4, 2022, Prithvi's fan page on Facebook shared a video of the young child having a blast with his parents, Akash and Shloka. When Prithvi was wearing a navy-blue onesie, his charm knew no boundaries. A small group of guests, including Bollywood actors Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, Sachin Tendulkar, and a few others, were present for the celebration. Prithvi reportedly received a lot of expensive gifts on his birthday.
